But what are the best settings to use and when should you use the Omnium1 system? Read on to discover the best Omnium1 PEMF therapy settings to use.

A reminder about best PEMF practice…

As we mentioned in our previous blog How to use the Omnium1;10 essential tips from EMPpad Lifestyle, the best results are obtained by using the Omnium1 2-3 times per day, and by keeping hydrated. Remember to drink 1-2 glasses of water 15-30 minutes prior to each Omnium1 PEMF therapy session to make sure that your body is in a position to fully benefit. Lastly, allow 4-6 hours between each whole body PEMF OmniMat session.

For your first Omnium1 session we always recommend an intensity setting of 10.
After this, we suggest the following settings, using the Omnium1 2-3 times per day.

EMPpad Lifestyle: Daily Sessions

  • 10 – 50 intensity in the morning for 8-12 minutes (or Activation Quick Start Setting).
  • 10 intensity at night for 12-24 minutes (or Sleep Quick Start Setting).

EMPpad Lifestyle: Additional Optional Sessions

  • 50 intensity at noon for 8-12 minutes (or Performance Quick Start Setting).
  • 25 intensity in the evening for 8-12 minutes (or Regeneration Quick Start Setting).

OmniPadOmniPad Settings:

The OmniPad applicator is designed to address localised problem areas. It is best used after an OmniMat session.

Please refer to the following settings as a guide to help you to use this applicator:

Lower and Mid back:

  • Acute (new) condition: 50-100 intensity. 16-24 minutes.
  • Chronic (older) condition: 25-50 intensity. 8 minutes.

Head and Neck:

  • Acute (new) condition: 25-50 intensity. 16-24 minutes.
  • Chronic (older) condition: 10-25 intensity. 8 minutes.

OmniSpotOmniSpot Settings:

The OmniSpot is an extremely efficient applicator, concentrating the PEMF therapy between its two copper coils. It is most suited to local problem areas involving the upper and lower extremities and is best used following an OmniMat session.
Please refer to the following settings as a guide to help you use this applicator:

Upper extremity local problem areas:

  • Acute (new) condition: 50-100 intensity. 16-24 minutes.
  • Chronic (older) condition: 25-50 intensity. 8 minutes.

Lower extremity local problem areas:

  • Acute (new) condition: 100-400 intensity. 16-24 minutes.
  • Chronic (older) condition: 50-100 intensity. 8 minutes.

The five dynamic presets allow you to select from any one of Activation, Performance, Relaxation, Sleep and Regeneration.

Here is how we suggest you make full use of them:

Human PerformancePerformance (Mental and Physical):

Session 1: Activation – To prepare for the day and to get the most from this preset, use Activation early in the morning, shortly after waking. Make sure to hydrate first!

Session 2: Performance – Use the Performance preset to help prepare you to be at your best, whether that is on the pitch or in the boardroom. This preset is an EMPpad Lifestyle favourite.

Session 3: Sleep – If you work and play hard, you need to recover well. Use the Sleep preset just prior to bed, to help calm you down and prepare for all the essential benefits of deep, restorative sleep.

Stress managementResilience (Stress Management):

Session 1: Activation – To help protect you from the stresses of the day ahead, use Activation early in the morning, shortly after waking.

Session 2: Relaxation – If you are about to go into a stressful situation, use the Relaxation preset to help keep your emotions in check. If you have just encountered a stressful episode, use it as soon as you can to help bring your body back into balance.

Session 3: Sleep – Use the Sleep preset just prior to bed, to help your body to unwind and prepare for the stress relieving benefits of deep, restorative sleep.

Human RecoveryRecovery (Sleep Management):

Session 1: Activation – Use Activation early in the morning, shortly after waking, to help provide you with just the right amount of energy for the day ahead.

Session 2: Regeneration – Use Regeneration in the evening, four hours prior to bed, to help calm you down and start the process of preparing your body for sleep.

Session 3: Sleep – Use the Sleep preset just prior to bed to get ready for all the essential benefits of deep, restorative sleep.
